WHERE IS THE PASTA DINNER?
The pasta dinner is free to all registered runners except the 5K. All guests and 5K runners $10.00

Entertainment includes "Hatfield and McCoy" skit in the High School auditorium.

HOW DO I GET TO THE "RIVER ROAD (2ND) HALF"?
All River Road participants must either drive to Matewan for the race start, or ride the shuttle from Williamson (BB&T Parking Lot 250 E 2nd Ave. Williamson, WV 25661). For those running the River Road Half, we will have school buses taking runners to Matewan. The buses will leave at 6:30am from BB&T Bank parking lot near the ATM in Downtown Williamson. Please be there by 6:20am, no later than 6:25am.. They will leave PROMPTLY at 6:30am. The race begins at 7:30am
Free parking is available in Downtown Williamson on 1st, 2nd and 3rd avenue.
If you drove to Matewan, you will be shuttled back to you car from the finish line. Buses will be taking runners back from Matewan to Williamson.
WHERE CAN I PARK IN WILLIAMSON/STARTING LINE?
Parking is not permitted at Food City/Starting Line, therefore runners should park in one of the public parking lots in Williamson, WV where shuttles will transport you to the starting line beginning at 5:00AM. If you are a guest of a Williamson hotel, shuttles will pick you up from hotel. Free parking is available in Downtown Williamson on 1st, 2nd and 3rd avenue.
(Buses will travel through Downtown Williamson and take runners to the Marathon, Blackberry Half, and Double Half to Food City)

CAN I REGISTER THE DAY OF THE RACE?
Race day packet pickup/last minute registration for all races will take place in Downtown Williamson, starting 5am til 6:30am at the Finish Line, located on 2nd Ave near Starters Restaurant.
School Buses will be taking all participants for the Marathon, Double half, and Blackberry Mountain Half to Food City. Buses will be on 2nd and 3rd Ave in Downtown Williamson picking up runners from 5am til 6:30am...around the clock. The races begin at 7am.

We ask that everyone leave their bags at Community Trust in Downtown Williamson that morning of the race. Fill out a card with your name and Bib#.
WHAT IS THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE?
Local weather can vary from 55 degrees at start time and could be 80 plus degrees by the finish time.
ARE THERE LOTS OF WATER STOPS?
Yes, there are 25 water stops. Approximately 1 every mile. In addition to first aid stations at the start, finish, Matewan, and the swinging bridge on mile 18.5.
WHERE ARE THE PORT-A-POTTIES?
Miles 3, 7.2, 10.5, Matewan Finish line, 16, 19, 21.5, 24 in addition to restroom facilities in Matewan and Williamson.
WHAT KIND OF AWARDS ARE GIVEN?
First, Second, and Third place overall finishers receive trophies.
First, Second, and Third in all age groups receive trophies.
First Hatfield and First McCoy male and female will receive trophies
All finishers will receive a medal.
All entrants will receive a t-shirt and race goodie bag.
*No winner will receive two prizes (Overall and age group)
We will have nurses and medical staff in Matewan and Williamson. Also, EMS will be around the clock along the course.
I CAN'T MAKE THE RACE, CAN I HAVE A REFUND OR DEFER MY REGISTRATION?
Sorry, no refunds…but, you can defer your registration until the following year for a $20 per entry. Just send us an email with your information and reason for deferral and we will be happy to assist. Email: email@example.com
